A fresh horizon

It is a new year. You have a new pastor (Interim). Before many months Heritage will call a full-time Pastor. Therefore the church must look toward a fresh horizon and ask what direction we are to take. The church cannot afford to drift along. We cannot allow a comfortable inertia to settle upon the church. We must choose a strong direction and chart a dynamic course under the power of God and elected leadership with the full support of all members.

Heritage must seek out and invite this new generation to trust Jesus Christ and join hands and hearts with us here.

To do this we need to focus on:

Connecting with God
Connecting with others
Changing our lives through deeper faith
Changing Heritage and impacting our world

These thoughts will be continued for the next several weeks. I seek and appreciate your
thoughts on these items on which we will focus.

Sunday school and outreach leader meeting RESCHEDULED

Tuesday, March 9, at 7:00 PM. Our Pastor is anxious to meet with all the Sunday School Teachers and Outreach Leaders to discuss plans for the special services leading up to Easter. Please plan to be present; let Woodrow or Nelle know if you cannot be present.

New WNS meal prices!

Beginning March 10, Wednesday night supper meals will cost $3 for adults and $1 for children with a cap of $5 for a family. Please make reservations by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday prior to the meal.

Buckets of Hope for Haiti

Remember to pick up buckets from church, fill and return by March 3. March 7 packing party begins at 4PM in the Fellowship Hall. Soup and Cornbread Supper at 5PM followed by North American Mission Study at 6PM sponsored by WMU.
