Heritage… A Vision In Search of Followers

(continuation from last week—please go back and read 1/17/10)

During these days of “Connecting and Changing” we need to clarify,
reinforce and reconnect with the Heritage Baptist Church reason for being. It is imperative that we begin in our individual lives, strengthening our
relationship with Jesus Christ and continue to reach out and invite this new generation to the deep joy and hope that comes through knowing Jesus

To do this, Heritage will continue to connect with Jesus Christ:

• By daily seeking His face in prayer with joyful hearts.
• By gathering with others to worship where we use the best of the old (traditional) and new (contemporary) to praise and serve God together. Your faithful attendance on Sunday morning and evening is necessary.
  
• By gathering as members and non members for Sunday School (Bible Study) to learn God’s word and share in fellowship and prayer (Acts 2:42) each Sunday.
  
• By strengthening our relationship, as members and non-members with one another through humility, acceptance, understanding, and when, necessary, forgiveness.

These thoughts will be continued for the next several weeks. I seek and appreciate your thoughts on these items on which we will focus.
